Here are 2 sisters that look nothing alike!

This little fat thing is Ity Bity!  Her Mom is Pinkie Sue and her Dad is SuZu.  When she was born, she was the runt of the litter and sooo soo tiny.  As you can see, she has out grown her name LMAO!
I wanted to also add this picture because it shows how "ity bity" Ity Bity really is. LOL  Special Ed is behind her and the big belly is (no, not Santa LMAO) my husband!  He just walked in and said "THAT IS MY BELLY!!"  Too, too funny!  LMAO
This beautiful red head is Birdie Jean.  She is Ity Bity's sister.  Like I said, 2 sisters that look nothing alike.  Birdie is only about half the size of her sister.  We had her for the first 3 months of her life and then she was given to my brother and his wife.  She just stayed skinny and Ity Bity got bigger and bigger and bigger.  Birdie is also a part of our little household now.  My brother moved in a couple months back and where he goes, she goes.  She is his little baby!  Both girls are super unique and way different from each other.  Ity Bity is not shy around her family but if new people come around, she barks and hides and keeps barking.  She gets used to people fairly quickly but new dogs, she hates them for the first couple weeks.  I do not know why but little dogs always think that they are monsters.  She thinks she is ten foot tall and can take on any other dog and does when needed.  There has rarely been a doggie fight that she does not come out on top.  That sentence sounded bad but all dogs fight sometime, just like brothers and sisters and she just gives them a good talking to and the fight is done.  LOL
Birdie on the other hand is timid and shy!  She hides most of the time, when we go to the living room-she runs to the bedroom and sleeps on my pillow.  She would prefer to stay in the warm bed then come out and visit.  She is not much of a barker but she does dance when she gets excited.  It is super cute and she likes to lick my brother bald head.  I do not know why but she loves it.  It is weird, my husband and I have 11 dogs together but the ones that he calls "his" (Pinkie Sue, Ity Bity, & Tika) are FAT!! LOL  Well, ok-not Tika but the other two are little heffers.  I am the chubbier one between us but my babies are not little cows.  It is funny how things work out like that.  Sorry, just a thought! LOL

  1. Kerri,
I always love reading about your family. It sounds like a zoo at your house and a ball of fun. I should take a pic of my hubby and post it online..maybe it would motivate him to go to the gym with me. lol

  2. I cannot imagine elven dogs in the house. I go in to shock every time I read your post. You are a great mother. How did you potty train all of them?
Is that the correct word for training dogs?

  3. Terry, it is a zoo and it stinks when it rains or snows because of the mud. We have to wash sheets, pillow cases and blankets all the time. The floors seem to always be dirty or hairy, so it is a never ending cleaning battle around here BUT I would not change it for the world. We do want to try for a baby next year and I think that will change things around here a bit. It will have to be cleaner (its not filthy but something always needs cleaned lol) and we will have to teach the dogs to sleep more on the floor and less in the bed.

  4. Professor, it is hard sometimes with eleven dogs but you get used to it and learn to do some things a little different. We had to go thru a zillion vacuums before we found the right one for all the hair and dirt. I love the comments I get about the dogs, I think that is why I post about my babies. LOL We didn't get all the dogs at once so we potty trained each one separate. Well I guess all of them except the last two b/c they came together but they trained real fast. Also, we have a doggie door in the back door that leads out to a huge back yard, all of our babies potty trained pretty fast with the use of the doggie door. Like everyone else though that starts with a puppy, we had accidents! We have to get our carpets cleaned and some of them replaced but that is part of having so many dogs. Thanks everyone for all the great responses!
