Once in a lifetime moment...I AM SPEECHLESS

This is the weirdest thing, I am not sure what to write about!  I posted pictures of all my dogs and now I don't know where to go from there.  I guess I will look at all my pics and see what I can put up LOL.
This first picture is of my husband Richard, he was still in Chatinika Alaska.  This one is funny b/c he had just bought himself a new camera and was trying it out. He was staying in a room with just a bed, this room is right across from his room where he did his cooking, washing dishes and things like watching t.v. and lounging.

This picture is even funnier b/c he is still messing with his camera and he thinks this one is so great. What a goof ball!  I guess you would have to know him to really get a kick out of this.

This next one is so cute and precious.  My husband was sound asleep one night and i woke up and saw Tika sleeping right next to him like she owns the pillow. It was so adorable b/c her little tongue was hanging out and they were breathing together.  So so cute!

This cute picture is of my youngest nephew Kohl.  He was in football this year and his team did great.  Won almost every game. The sun was shining in his eyes so his picture looks a little constipated but he is adorable.  He is nine years old and is the son of my only brother Kris and his ex-wife (divorced only one week) Tommie Jo.
This cutey is Monique.  She is 13 years old and is on our local soccer team.  She is my brothers step daughter and her mom is Tommie Jo.  She is a wonderful kid, well mannered, big heart but can also be a jerk like every other kid her age LOL.
Ok, I think today is one of those "brain does not want to work" days.  So this is all I am gonna post for now.  I have several other nieces and nephews  to show off but I think I need to go take a nap.  I think I have caught that stupid flu that is going around.  I will post again later.

Last but not least-Meet Chewy and Star

Before I post my last two babies pictures and stories, I just wanted all of you out there to know why I am posting two different pups at the same time. I know that during week 10, I do what I have to do with homework and then take the rest of the time to relax before the new term starts. So I wanted to post the last two babies this week when everyone is still going strong. LOL
This is Chewy, short for chewbakka (not sure how to spell that, not a fan of star wars). He is the son of Fancy Jean and  his Dad is....holy smokes I do not remember who his Dad was. Bad Mommie, lol. Chewy is our other dominant male. He tries real hard to be the biggest dog but Bert usually beats him at it. We have to still get our boys fixed but for now they fight a bit. Chewy is usually the one that lays down after a while but since he is so hairy, he is the one that usually does not get hurt. This picture makes him look crazy but I just caught him off guard LOL. He was out of one of our many litters and we did not plan on keeping him in our little family BUT my friend Trina had just been released from prison and b/c of that she did not really have anything that was really her own. So when she came to live with us, I let her have Chewy as her very own. But she had to potty train him and teach him things and she did a great job! Long story way shorter, she ended up getting in trouble and having to move to Reno and live in a half way house and could not take Chewy with her. He already knew our family, our house and was doggie door trained so I kept him. When she first left, I did not realize that he was addicted to coffee.  She would let him drink her coffee every morning and I had a heck of a time keeping him out of mine LOL.  When she left, he was so upset that he kind of went into hiding mode, it took a very long time to get him to come out of his shell.  He would not come to anyone but me and would hide and cower when anyone else would come near him.  He has since became a very good dog, he now comes to almost everyone and I know that he really loves his family and life.
This is a little bit older picture of Chewy but I wanted to get one on here that didn't show his crazy eyes LMAO!  He is about 6 years old and my husband just told me that his Dad is Bert. LOL The things my old lady brain forgets.
This is our beautiful, slender, muscular baby girl Star. We adopted her a few years ago from our local pound. As far as we knew she was under a year when we adopted her. The pound lady found her tied up in a families back yard with no food and no water and no family! The family had up and moved out of state and left her behind. She was there for so long that she was eating her own poop, ya gross but true. That is what kept her alive. We were not really interested in adopting another dog but I have this habit of going to the pound and looking when I am bored so thats how I found her. We had another pure breed rat terrier named
Boo Boo, they look almost identical. He was taken from us one winter, along with our pitbull Sadie. The neighborhood dumbsh*ts said that they thought she was a coyote and shot her and stole Boo Boo. So when I saw her and nobody was interested in adopting her AND she was within a day of being put to sleep, I knew we had to take her in. I had second thoughts but my husband saw her too and fell in love.  When we were trying to name her, the hubby wanted to name her Rose, I said NO WAY that is an old dog name and Star is always wanting to be the center of attention so naturally she got the name Star LOL. Just a little tip, if you have a dog that is eating their own poop, you can break them really easy by feeding them a few pieces of pineapple. It makes their poop very, very stinky and nasty and they no longer will eat it.  Sorry for soo many "poops" in this post but it was necessary LOL.

This is a picture of Star when we first added her to our family (I think).  I cannot remember the exact date of when we adopted her. Another part of her story that I have to tell is when we first adopted her we wanted to get her fixed right away. We did not want any more litters of puppies. Before we took her to get fixed, I was rubbing on her belly and felt some lumps. I am in no way a vet or anything of the sort but I have had hundreds of dogs, zillions of litters of puppies and know a good deal about my babies and I could swear she was pregnant. We took her right away to the vet to find out for sure. The day we took her in, a old, old guy was subbing for my regular vet. I told him about what I felt and he felt around a little and told us that she was NOT pregnant, there was no way so he went ahead and gave her all her shots and sent us home. Well about 1 week later, Star went into labor and had two huge puppies. I was so pissed off at that vet for not listening. I called the clinic and told them what happened and come to find out, I was not the first or last that had major complaints about that old guy. He will never be called to work for them again! I told them ok but what about these puppies, are they going to be ok b/c they gave her all those shots while pregnant. Because she was so far along, thank goodness, the puppies were not hurt or affected by the shots. We found them wonderful homes with some elderly folks. I can also give a little more advice: when you own a small dog, like a terrier, when they are pregnant they hold the pups up in their rib cage more than their bellies. So if you think your small dog is pregnant, hold them in your lap and push down a little bit on their ribs and feel for little lumps. If you feel some lumps, most likely they are pregnant.  Ok, I also have to add something cute about Star, she wants attention ALL the time and will not go away unless you blow on her.  Yes, I said blow on her. She hates any kind of wind in her face or on her body. She is the only dog I have ever seen that thinks blowing on her is like pushing her away. It is the cutest thing.  I hope everyone out there that has kept up with my endless stories, enjoyed them! I will post more pictures next week.

Only 4 doggies left to go! LOL Meet Toes & Sable

First off SORRY ABOUT THE POO IN THIS PICTURE!!!  We had not yet adopted them and this picture was taken while they were still at the pound. LOL This is Toe Toes and her little sister Sable!  We adopted them in March of this year from our local pound.  The one that is licking her nose is Sable and the one with the Duh! look in her eyes is Toe Toes.  See how little they are, they are soo cute and look just like beagles.
This picture was taken one day after adopting our "little" girls.  They are sleepin by their Mommies leg.  The one on her back is Sable and of course the other cutie is Toe Toes.  Still so little, man did they have us fooled. LMAO
This was taken in June of this year.  This is Toe Toes, as you can see, she is not LITTLE!  She is huge!  She is bigger than all of my other doggies combined.  They are beagle but mixed with some kind of hound dog.  They have the sad sad eyes and the long droopy ears and they howl at night time when they should be sleeping.  She outgrew her puppiness but she still has the Duh! in her eyes.  But I love her soo much.  She is our trouble maker, she gets out of the yard, chews up everything she can get her paws on and is the first one to jump on momma with cold muddy feet. LMAO  You are probably asking why did you name her Toe Toes?  I know it is a strange doggie name but the first day that we brought them home, I was trying to figure out what to name her and she would not leave my toes alone.  She loves to lick and nibble on people toes.  When she walked away, I said "hey Toe Toes, come here" and she came running.  It has been Toe Toes ever since, LOL
This picture was also taken in June and this is Sable.  She is the sweet, beautiful eyed sister of Toe Toes.  They are both about the same size except Toes head is bigger, Sable is fatter, lol, and Sable has more brown on her face and head.  You can see the hound dog a little better in Sable, her ears are longer and shoot, I guess this picture doesn't show her eyes very well but she has super sad eyes.  Both of my big girls are very smart.  They learned how to use the doggy door very quickly and do not have accidents anymore.  I suppose they are about 5 months in these pictures.  I am not exactly sure because when we adopted them, the pound was not sure if they were a little under a month or so.  The name Sable came from my husband Richard, he is so into the WWE and there used to be a pretty woman wrestler that went by the name Sable.  It's a guy thing but that is where her name came from.  LOL  Sable is also a chewer but she is the mellowier one of the two.  She was very shy with everyone up until about a month ago, she is finally coming out of her shell.
I had to add this additional photo.  I think it is so cute and it shows how big my girls are.  This is my husband Richard and the "little" big girl giving him kisses is Sable and the one with the "what Mom?" look is Toe Toes.  My husband is about 5'4 and you can see how big they are compared to him.  This was taken in May, so they are bigger now.  I think they are now as big as they are gonna get, man I hope so anyhow LOL.

Here are 2 sisters that look nothing alike!

This little fat thing is Ity Bity!  Her Mom is Pinkie Sue and her Dad is SuZu.  When she was born, she was the runt of the litter and sooo soo tiny.  As you can see, she has out grown her name LMAO!
I wanted to also add this picture because it shows how "ity bity" Ity Bity really is. LOL  Special Ed is behind her and the big belly is (no, not Santa LMAO) my husband!  He just walked in and said "THAT IS MY BELLY!!"  Too, too funny!  LMAO
This beautiful red head is Birdie Jean.  She is Ity Bity's sister.  Like I said, 2 sisters that look nothing alike.  Birdie is only about half the size of her sister.  We had her for the first 3 months of her life and then she was given to my brother and his wife.  She just stayed skinny and Ity Bity got bigger and bigger and bigger.  Birdie is also a part of our little household now.  My brother moved in a couple months back and where he goes, she goes.  She is his little baby!  Both girls are super unique and way different from each other.  Ity Bity is not shy around her family but if new people come around, she barks and hides and keeps barking.  She gets used to people fairly quickly but new dogs, she hates them for the first couple weeks.  I do not know why but little dogs always think that they are monsters.  She thinks she is ten foot tall and can take on any other dog and does when needed.  There has rarely been a doggie fight that she does not come out on top.  That sentence sounded bad but all dogs fight sometime, just like brothers and sisters and she just gives them a good talking to and the fight is done.  LOL
Birdie on the other hand is timid and shy!  She hides most of the time, when we go to the living room-she runs to the bedroom and sleeps on my pillow.  She would prefer to stay in the warm bed then come out and visit.  She is not much of a barker but she does dance when she gets excited.  It is super cute and she likes to lick my brother bald head.  I do not know why but she loves it.  It is weird, my husband and I have 11 dogs together but the ones that he calls "his" (Pinkie Sue, Ity Bity, & Tika) are FAT!! LOL  Well, ok-not Tika but the other two are little heffers.  I am the chubbier one between us but my babies are not little cows.  It is funny how things work out like that.  Sorry, just a thought! LOL

This is our tiny girl Tika

This is Tika, she is our littliest girl.  Her Mom is Pinkie Sue and her Dad is SuZu and yes she is inbreed! LOL
Here is Tika again, she is getting ready to attack her Momma (me) LMAO!  The hubby is holding her and she is protecting him.  She was born into our little family but we adopted her out to my best friend Tiffany.  Tiffany had her for several years and during that time she learned that Tika hates vacuums, attacks children's socked feet, and can pretend to have seizures.  My bestie Tif was living in a little apartment and started getting real sick with migraines and other illnesses.  She could not figure out what was wrong and also Tika had starting having real seizures.  After taking Tika to the vet and getting tests done, they found that there was toxic mold somewhere in the house and to be able to relieve T from her seizures it would be a $5000 surgery.  Who has that kind of money to spend on the family dog?  So they gave Tiffany some medication to help the problem.  They found out later that the toxic mold was on the floor of the shower and Tika used to lick up the water after someone would shower.  Tiffany and her family ended up moving right when they found out about the mold because that was also what was making her sick.  Well, Tiffany got pregnant 3 years ago and Tika was having none of it!  She was so used to being Tif's baby that her jealously got to be too much for Tiffany to handle.  Tika started to potty in the middle of the living room floor and she would try to sleep on top of the baby's face.  So instead of taking Tika to the pound, we adopted her back into our little family.  Tika has several names that she comes to: Tika, tee tee, T, and DooDoo.  She got the DooDoo name because of pooping on the floor.  She comes to all of these names, it just depends on what she is doing or has done for which name we use. LOL  When DooDoo was still with Tiffany, she was not let around other dogs and because of that she never really learned how to bark.  So she has this weird throaty noise for a bark (you would really have to hear it to understand and if you did, you would laugh).  Since we have had Tika she has not had one seizure, she is not on any type of medication and she loves to go for rides in any vehicle.  A part of the story I forgot to include was when Tika was still with Tiffany, her husband Jeremy would pick on Tika and piss her off.  During the times when she was having seizures, she learned how upset her family would get and how much they would baby her so when Jeremy picked on her, she would fake a seizure and he would love and baby her and quit picking on her.  She is an incredibly smart dog and learns things so fast.  This story is sooo long LMAO, I hope I have not just bored everyone to death.  I am so proud of my little ones and each one has their own unique story.  I have done Pinkie, Fancy, Suzu, Eddy, Bert and now Tika, I still have Chewy, Ity Bity, Star, Toes and Sable but their stories will be posted in the next few weeks.  Oh and my brother is living with me right now and we have his Birdie here too.  She is the Mom of Eddy, just to let ya all know. LOL

Meet Special Ed

This first picture is Special Ed when he was still very young.  He was born in 2004, so in this picture he was probably about 1 year old.  He was originally my big brother Kris' puppy but life happens and he is now in our little family.
This second picture was taken in 07 and I caught him right before he gave me kisses LOL.  Eddy's story is a weird one.  His Mom's name is Birdie Jean and she was out of one of my many litters too.  Almost all my babies are related one way or another, lol.  Birdie is one of our smallest pups and probably should never have had puppies but she she ended up actually going through 2 pregnancies.  Special Ed was the first puppy born to her.  She had a total of 3 pups her first litter and only 2 lived and her second litter, she only had 2 and only 1 lived.  He has the name Special Ed because he was born all messed up!  We did not think that he was going to live past a couple days but he surprised us and is still going strong.  When he was born, his legs were all cockeyed--he couldn't stand, he couldn't walk and his back two legs he just dragged.  Day by day he grew very little and started to be able to walk on his front legs but his back two just did not want to work.  We worked with him and loved him so much that after 5 months or so he started to gently use his back legs.  Now he is going strong and all his legs work great, he does walk like a cowboy that rides horses all the time LMAO!!  He is only maybe 4lbs and no matter how much we feed him, he never gets any bigger but he is a huge part of our family!

Meet Momma's Big Boy Bert

This is Momma's Big Boy Bert!  He is 7 years old and thinks he is ten foot tall and can kick any other dog's butt.  He is our dominant male in the house and beats up on our other male, Chewy, every chance he gets.  We are getting all 4 of our males fixed soon though so maybe some of the fighting will stop.  Our 7 females are all fixed but they had to come first because we did not want any more puppies!  LOL  Puppies are great but not when you end having litter after litter after litter, it gets old and your patience grows thin.  Ok, a little about Bert..he is as dumb as a box of rocks.  He has this look that he gives you that says duhhhhhhhh, what did you say? He potty trained pretty easy but that is because we have a doggy door and he loves being outside.  But when we try to train him to do anything else, NO WAY!  I think he is smarter than he puts on but does not want us to know LMAO.
I hope all my fellow classmates like reading about my babies because otherwise I would have to write about all the drama in my life and that part of life stinks!  Hope everyone has a good week.

Meet Fancy Jean

This is Momma's Fancy Jean.  I had to do two posts today because Pinkie Sue and Fancy Jean are sisters and were born only minutes apart.  Their mommie was my Destiny Dawn and the whole time she was pregnant, I feed her slim jims.  I went thru a huge slim jim phase and she happened to be pregnant at the same time.  Lucky her!  LOL When Fancy and Pinkie were born, Pinkie Sue was born with two bags around her and we had to help her with the second bag so that Pinkie could breathe and she was gigantic but Fancy came out of her mom with NO bag and she was only a quarter of the size of Pinkie.  She wasn't breathing but we rubbed on her and got her to breathe.  Fancy is also 8 1/2 years old...um that was probably obvious lol.  She is incredibly sensitive and never seems to get enough love.  You can pet her and hug her and let her kiss you all day and she still thinks she is getting neglected.  She is not as heavy as Pinkie Sue but she did get a little chunky when we got her spayed.  She has a little talent, when you spell out her name, she will come running.  She knows how to spell but only her name LOL.  She also comes to Fancy Bean or Beany or even Beany Weeny.  I love my dogs so much and I hope all of you can put up with me going on and on about them because there is more to come.  :)

Meet Pinkie Sue

This is Daddy's Pinkie Sue!  She is the oldest of our 11 dogs and as you can see she is quite the heffer LOL.  She is 8 1/2 years old and this is her favorite corner of all the furniture in the house.  She is a rat terrier mix.  Her dad was a pure rat terrier and her mom was an adopted terrier mix from the pound.  Both her parents are not with us anymore, they passed.  We did not intend for Pinkie (who I call Piggy Poo or P or Porky or Poopy poop, she comes to all of them) to be this heavy but when she was a puppy she learned where the dog food bowl was very quickly and then she would get into the bowl and eat around herself.  It was the cutest thing ever but now we are walking her and she is on a limited diet.  But I have to tell you that the other regular sized dogs do not like but have to put up with (cause they can not reach the food).  That was probably only funny for us "crazy" dog people LMAO!!    The little girl in the picture with her is Tika but I will tell you all about her later.
Also, just so everyone knows..WE DID NOT PICK OUT THIS COUCH!!! It was given to us free and we had to take it because we did not want to sit on the floor.  I did not want all of you to think that I have horrible taste LOL.  More pictures to come-----WOO HOO

This is Momma's pretty boy SuZu
Alright, I was not real sure what to blog about today--family drama, not wanting to clean the house, dumb people...but I thought NO, I will write about one of my favorite things in life: My Babies
The picture above is of one of my males dogs, his name is SuZu and he is about 6 yrs. old.  His name is very unique and that is because my nephew Kohl named him when he was 2yrs old.  When Kohl was 2 not SuZu LOL.  My ex-sister in law Tommie wanted me to name him hardhat b/c when he was born his head was the same size as it is now.  His body was only about 3 1/2 inches long but his head was gigantic.  We had 7 dogs already but I had to keep him b/c I had to see how big his head would get.  LOL  I ended up falling head over heels in love with him from the first minute.  He is one of my smallest dogs, he is a chihuahua, rat terrier mix and he thinks he is as big & as mean as a Rottweiler.  His favorite place to sleep is between my chest and stomach.  It makes it pretty hard to type or write or do much of anything with him right there but he insists that is where he belongs.  I have a ton more pictures and I will add one of all 11 babies soon.

They call me "Blueberry Kerri"

Ok, let me explain the title to todays blog. All thru my life I have been heavy but during my teen years, I developed a taste for wearing blue. Anything that was blue and every shade of blue. My brother Kris, being a stinky older brother (like most are LOL) had to make fun of everything I did. Well you take a chubby teen and then add lots of blue, you get "Blueberry Kerri", it is catchy and it rhymes! Of course, he could not just tease me at home, he had to take it on vacation with us. For several months, we went up to a little tiny mining town by the name of Jarbidge, NV. We had friends that we'd known all our lives that lived there. A Mom, Dad, 2 boys and 1 girl. The parents of course didn't do much to help the spread of my new nickname but the kids did. All summer long it was hey "Blueberry" what do you want to do today? or hey "bananaberry kerri" do you want to go on a bike ride? (Depending on the color of my shirt!).  The one nickname I hated the most was "Eggplant Kerri", it did not rhyme and have you seen one of those veggies-not a pretty site. LOL  After that disaster, I did not wear purple shirts anymore!
It is funny, we all are grown now, we all have families and spouses and we all live in different states but anytime we get together or happen to be talking to someone from that time in our lives, it ALWAYS comes up--how is "Blueberry Kerri"?  I am still heavy, at 34yrs old and I do love blue (I am actually wearing blue now LMAO) so I guess the name still fits but don't tell my brother--he would never let me hear the end of it!!

My 1st ever blog

Hi.  My name is Kerri and this is my first blog.  I am not real sure what to do but I suppose I will figure it out as I go.
