This is our tiny girl Tika

This is Tika, she is our littliest girl.  Her Mom is Pinkie Sue and her Dad is SuZu and yes she is inbreed! LOL
Here is Tika again, she is getting ready to attack her Momma (me) LMAO!  The hubby is holding her and she is protecting him.  She was born into our little family but we adopted her out to my best friend Tiffany.  Tiffany had her for several years and during that time she learned that Tika hates vacuums, attacks children's socked feet, and can pretend to have seizures.  My bestie Tif was living in a little apartment and started getting real sick with migraines and other illnesses.  She could not figure out what was wrong and also Tika had starting having real seizures.  After taking Tika to the vet and getting tests done, they found that there was toxic mold somewhere in the house and to be able to relieve T from her seizures it would be a $5000 surgery.  Who has that kind of money to spend on the family dog?  So they gave Tiffany some medication to help the problem.  They found out later that the toxic mold was on the floor of the shower and Tika used to lick up the water after someone would shower.  Tiffany and her family ended up moving right when they found out about the mold because that was also what was making her sick.  Well, Tiffany got pregnant 3 years ago and Tika was having none of it!  She was so used to being Tif's baby that her jealously got to be too much for Tiffany to handle.  Tika started to potty in the middle of the living room floor and she would try to sleep on top of the baby's face.  So instead of taking Tika to the pound, we adopted her back into our little family.  Tika has several names that she comes to: Tika, tee tee, T, and DooDoo.  She got the DooDoo name because of pooping on the floor.  She comes to all of these names, it just depends on what she is doing or has done for which name we use. LOL  When DooDoo was still with Tiffany, she was not let around other dogs and because of that she never really learned how to bark.  So she has this weird throaty noise for a bark (you would really have to hear it to understand and if you did, you would laugh).  Since we have had Tika she has not had one seizure, she is not on any type of medication and she loves to go for rides in any vehicle.  A part of the story I forgot to include was when Tika was still with Tiffany, her husband Jeremy would pick on Tika and piss her off.  During the times when she was having seizures, she learned how upset her family would get and how much they would baby her so when Jeremy picked on her, she would fake a seizure and he would love and baby her and quit picking on her.  She is an incredibly smart dog and learns things so fast.  This story is sooo long LMAO, I hope I have not just bored everyone to death.  I am so proud of my little ones and each one has their own unique story.  I have done Pinkie, Fancy, Suzu, Eddy, Bert and now Tika, I still have Chewy, Ity Bity, Star, Toes and Sable but their stories will be posted in the next few weeks.  Oh and my brother is living with me right now and we have his Birdie here too.  She is the Mom of Eddy, just to let ya all know. LOL

  1. Your family is hilarious Kerri. How are you doing with keeping up with your school? Have you started your paper yet or do you just spend all day playing with your cute "kids"? Good luck with it.

  2. Hi Terry, actually having dogs over kids lets me have more time for my homework. LOL Except this week, I had to have someone come in and help me clean so that I could get all that is due in on time. I have started my paper and I have to add some stuff to it for the final product but it is coming along good. I do spend a lot of time playing with my babies though. They make sure I do or they bark and bug me all day if I don't. LMAO. Thanks

  3. I think your stories about your babies are cute. I had a dog when my oldest was born and before her he was my baby. I had him professionally photographed and also his picture taken with santa. He was so sweet and I loved him greatly. One day he ran off with some other dogs and was killed by a car and I have not been able to get close to another dog since. My husband had a dog before we meet and she is a part of my family, but I don't really have anything to do with her. I wonder if I will ever be able to love another dog again. Does this sound weird? As I am telling you about it, it seems weird to me. Anyway...In the mean time I like your stories.

  4. Poor little DooDoo lol. I call my beagle "little miss pee pants". For about six months she started peeing in the house. During that time we got married, moved, had people coming and going a whole lot so we just thought it was stress. 10 days before Christmas she ended up getting emergency surgery because she had bladder stones and one was stuck so she couldn’t pee. Oh the love of dogs. I should add there have been no more messes.

  5. I love reading the stories about your dogs. I am a dog lover myself. I had dogs before my kids were born. When my first daughter was born I had a dog named Bethoven, he looked just like him to. He loved my daughter. He was very protective of her. He used to lay where ever she was. At night he would sleep by her crib. A year went by and we found this dog wondering around the neighborhood so we brought her in my home. The two dogs together were great with my daughter. By this time my other daoghter was born and both dogs were great with both of them. I never had a problem. I would set the kids on the floor and the dogs would just lay their. My girls used to love to sit on their backs while the dogs were laying on the floo.
